As an impassioned educator Arlene has responded to over 250 invitations throughout the United States to speak to medical professional associations allied with companies such as Eli Lilly, Merck, Schering-Plough and Ortho McNeil. Among her favorite opportunities to communicate the message of women’s wellness is the privilege of presenting to community and corporate groups; motivating women to have a clear and educated voice in their care. Arlene established her own web presence to make topical information available to all and especially to those women desiring to learn more about bio-identical hormones. Her full-time practice specializes in gynecology as she makes time to write articles for her website and for local and regional magazines while also utilizing television and radio to maximize her outreach to more and more women and their families.
Arlene graduated summa cum laude from Wichita State University where she received her PA Certificate and her Bachelor of Health Science degree. She is a member of numerous educational and professional organizations including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
From early in her practice, Arlene recognized that hormonal management in the perimenopausal and menopausal woman was sorely inadequate. Something was missing in conventional medicine’s approach to this stage of a woman’s life. Her persistence, diligent study and daily interaction with women in need of hormonal support led her to the answers that form the core of her informed approach to this serious medical problem. Utilizing this core information, she has created approved workshops to train other practitioners in the intricacies of hormonal management in perimenopausal and menopausal women.
Now known as “the one to see”, she presents extraordinary support for women’s wellness concepts, investing in a partnership with each woman whose life she impacts.
She is a tireless advocate of women’s education and encourages all women to participate in their health care decision-making process.
